With over 25 years of experience working in all facets of business, Chuck Gillespie has seen firsthand the importance of both organizational intelligence and organizational health. As a partnership consultant with Nyhart, Chuck works with employers across the United States on the integration of a life cycle financial wellness initiative.
He is the former Executive Director of the Wellness Council of Indiana where he developed nationally recognized programs for evaluating both workplaces and communities. During his tenure, Chuck evaluated over 175 workplaces on their wellness strategy. Prior to that, Chuck led HR for two different multi-million dollar businesses with responsibilities that included leading workplace wellness efforts that resulted in a substantial financial and cultural impact to the company.
He has spent time in the classroom teaching for Purdue University, IUPUI and Indiana Wesleyan University. Chuck earned a bachelor’s degree from Purdue University and an MBA from the University of Indianapolis. Additionally, he has trained hundreds of individuals on how to coordinate workplace wellness efforts.
Chuck has been recognized as a Friend of Wellness by the Fisher Institute for Wellness and Gerontology and a Beacon Community Champion. He was presented the Hulman Health Achievement Award in 2016. In 2017, The US Chamber of Commerce Foundation awarded his community program the Healthy 10 award.
He is active in the industry working as Co-Chair of the Indiana Workplace Wellness Partnership (IWWP), Director of Workforce Readiness for Indiana SHRM, is a member of the University Of Indianapolis Kinesiology Board and spent five years as the chair of the Indiana Healthy Weight Initiative.
