Lisa coaches clients on how to feel and look their best. She is a retired Registered Nurse Certified Health Coach and Registered Yoga Teacher and provides corporate health and wellness services as well as individual coaching. As a Registered Nurse Lisa first specialized in medical nursing where she witnessed an often ineffective ‘revolving door’ syndrome. She later discovered a more effective treatment for chronic disease that includes a holistic approach for both individuals and families. She now works with businesses and clients to reach health and wellness goals without “diets and deprivation”. She understands the many stressors men and women are faced with today. She has successfully managed her own high blood pressure and adrenal stress through diet yoga and lifestyle changes. Lisa is certified to teach Vinyasa Yoga Let Your Yoga Dance and Laughter Yoga and is a member of International Health Coaches Association and the Mid-Atlantic Health Coach Association.
Lisa believes that good health is like an onion and we often need to peel back the layers to get to the root cause of the dis-ease. This requires a deeper relationship with self that can be initiated through individual coaching. This process can be both energizing and exciting. She does not believe in ‘no pain no gain’ but instead teaches self-care tools and compassion.
