Margot has a lifetime of teaching teachers and children in the performing arts. She is a recognized expert in arts in education and director of the NYC Summer Arts Program. Ms. Faught will share her knowledge and experience in motivating individuals to participate in creative endeavors. Health Promotion efforts require both the art and the science and this is an opportunity to gain insight on the artistic elements applicable to the field of worksite wellness.

Choreography credits include Kaleidoscope Dance Company of Seattle Phoenix Theatre of Indianapolis and the Weathervane Theatre in Whitefield New Hampshire. In 2004 Margot received the Association of Teaching Artists’ Distinguished Service to the Arts in Education Field Award a lifetime achievement award honoring individual artist educators who not only pioneered the Arts in education field but also continue to work in the field. In addition she was honored with the 2007 Distinguished Alumni Award from Indiana University for outstanding personal and professional achievement. and in 2010 she was the recipient of the Young Audiences New York Partner in Education Award for her collaborative efforts in the field. Currently in New York City Margot is a freelance arts project consultant workshop facilitator and choreographer. She is a teaching artist/facilitator for ArtsConnection and Together in Dance(and TID board chair) Arnhold Dance Programs Coordinator (NYCDOE) and Artistic Director for the New York City Department of Education?s Summer Arts Institute. In addition Margot is a Facilitator for the 92nd Street Y’s Dance Education Laboratory’s partnership with the NYCDOE Arts Achieve project. She received her B.S. and M.S. from Indiana University.
