CDC Worksite Health Scorecard

Demonstration of the CDC Worksite Health Scorecard with Jason Lang and Dyann Matson Koffman
The newly released CDC Worksite Health ScoreCard (HSC) is a tool designed to help employers assess the extent to which they have implemented evidence-based health promotion interventions in their worksites. The HSC has been determined to be a valid and reliable tool for employers to use in assessing health promotion programs aimed at preventing heart disease, stroke and related conditions among employees. Staff from the CDC who developed the HSC will provide an overview of its development and demonstrate for participants how to use the tool.

1. Describe how can the CDC HSC was developed and tested.
2. Describe how the CDC HSC can be used by employers and other organizations to conduct workplace health asessments.
3. Describe other tools and resources that support taking action based on the results of the HSC.
