Mindfulness skills are frequently referenced at conferences and in publications for wellness, positive psychology, and treatment for mental disorders. Scientific evidence is accumulating that shows there is an association between regular mindfulness practice and changes in the brain, leading to increased positivity and the willingness to persevere in many aspects of daily life. In this webinar, you will be introduced to the theoretical underpinnings of this work and given suggestions for implementing mindfulness practices in ongoing wellness efforts.

Presenter Dr. John Weaver, Psy.D.

John Weaver, Psy.D. is a Licensed Psychologist who received his Doctor of Psychology degree from the Wisconsin School of Professional Psychology. He also has a Master of Science degree in Clinical Psychology from Marquette University and a Master of Divinity degree from St. Francis School of Pastoral Ministry.
